I'm the co-editor of Mgħawġin
There are very few opportunities on an island like Gozo that is made up of 60,000 people. Publishing opportunities barely exist. Ħaley Xuereb and I decided to co-found Mgħawġin to create a space for Gozitans to have their writing featured in a publication. The literary journal aims to include both Maltese and English, bridging the gap between the two languages, while also encouraging people to write in Gozitan dialects.
Let's Connect
